Bio

Born in Texas, USA as the only son of itinerant Christian ministers Winkie and Fae, Will grew up between New Zealand and the United States as a dual-citizen. He lives in both countries, and currently serves and travels with his father, Winkie, as a personal assistant. With a wide-range of experience in charitable, event, and religious service, and a deep interest in practical theology, he enjoys imparting useful tools to others in order to help them in their daily lives through teaching, product recommendations and mentoring.

He has written two manuals – one with his father – The Daniel Files*: a life-skills manual originally written for Generation X based on Daniel 1, and Christian Foundations**, written for Students 4 Christ as a hand/guide book for high school aged students.

He works with two not-for-profit organizations set-up to assist his father Winkie and his ministry- Ministry of Helps, TX, USA (www.moh.org) and Communication Foundation, Auckland, New Zealand (PO Box 75215, Manurewa, NZ). When in the United States, Will resides in East Texas.  When in New Zealand, he resides in Auckland. His training has been largely in missions work, including the completion of Youth With A Mission (YWAM)’s:
– Discipleship Training School
– School of Evangelism
– Mercy Reserves Disaster Response Training
– Strategic Frontiers’ Internship
 
He has also completed Our Savior’s Church (Broussard, Louisiana)’s Intense Discipleship Training (School) – Warriors in Training – and ministered on/off for over 18 years. William finished serving full-time with YWAM Tyler, Texas, USA in 2009 after 5+ years as an audio/video technician and producer.  At the same time he has also helped to oversee his father’s 5,000+ book library located on the YWAM Tyler property.  He has been involved in many forms of discipleship, including starting and leading prayer meetings, bible studies, co-leading technical training internships, personal and online discipleship.  He has been involved in many forms of evangelism, including: team, online, open air, schools, malls, movie theatre, airplane, airport, church, puppet, garbage dump, soccer field, refugee, missions, dance, drama, multi-media, on-stage production, hometown, fair, one-on-one, tract and city street.  He has spoken at churches, conferences, youth groups, missions training centers, and concerts.

His experience is in practical service, evangelism, teaching/mentoring/coaching, equipping of the saints, and prophetic ministry.
